Building Practical Solutions for the Future of Energy

Hydronexus Energy was founded with a simple belief:

The transition to cleaner energy requires more than new fuels, it requires practical technologies capable of working with the world’s existing infrastructure. Then, and only then, can it scale.

By combining modern engineering tools, advanced manufacturing, and removing legacy design constraints, Hydronexus is developing next generation power systems built for reliability, scalability, and the transition toward hydrogen.

Leigh Killingbeck

Founder & CEO, Hydronexus Energy

Leigh Killingbeck is a mechanical engineer and entrepreneur with experience spanning industrial automation, manufacturing, electric vehicles, and advanced energy systems.

His engineering career began in industrial automation with ATS Corporation, where he gained experience developing high tech manufacturing solutions. He later cofounded and operated a fabrication and machining company, gaining firsthand experience designing, building, and producing real world hardware.

After working in the electric vehicle industry, Leigh became increasingly focused on one of the largest challenges facing the energy transition: delivering clean, scalable power without sacrificing practicality, reliability, or affordability.

That realization led to Hydronexus Energy. A company focused on developing fuel flexible combustion platforms designed around the future of energy.
